idea of creating thumb-stopping social media campaigns excite you? If so, working as a
Graphic Designer for a UK-retalk might be for you! As part of the wider creative team you’ll
be working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced growing business producing beautifully
cohesive creative across all customer touchpoints.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As Graphic Designer your key responsibilities are:
● To support the creative, marketing and web teams with all graphic design.
● Action creative briefs from across the business and to create pixel perfect designs in
line with deadlines and brand guidelines.
● Work on a wide range of graphics including:
1. Content for social media & blog posts.
2. Content for digital ads.
3. Digital content for email marketing and onsite.
4. And much much more…
● Proactively use initiative, test new ideas that push the creative boundaries and
improve the quality of our creative output.
Skills and Knowledge
As a Graphic Designer you would be expected to have the following skills and knowledge:
● At least 3+ years proven experience in using Adobe CC applications: Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
● A relevant Design degree.
● An understanding of social media and email design.
● Passion for keeping up to date with creative & retail trends.
● Animation/After Effects knowledge is a bonus but not essential.
● Ability to use initiative and think ahead by anticipating the requirements of a brief,
asking the right questions and being prepared for a variety of scenarios and
outcomes.
● Excellent communication skills.
● Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
across the wider business.
● Self-motivated and able to work independently to deadlines.
● Strong attention to detail with an appreciation for the need for quality across all
creative output.
● Able to maintain a high level of creativity and quality execution when working under
pressure and to tight deadlines.
● Commercially astute to ensure that creative designs hit the wider business goals.
