Senior Software Engineer

This is a rare opportunity to be an early engineer in a fast-moving startup led by a successful founder (prev startup acquired by American Express). You'll have an outsized impact on the product, processes, and engineering culture.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who loves their craft and is excited to help build the future of mental health care from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate directly with the founder to architect and ship high-impact features.
• Bring real-time Agentic AI into clinical consultations.
• Champion quality and reliability through great testing and observability.
• Iterate across our product based on patient and clinician feedback.
• Lay the foundations for a great engineering culture, tooling, and processes.

Who You Are:

• A builder with product sense - you think beyond the code.
• Love the startup mindset - you're pragmatic, resourceful, and excited by early ownership.
• Comfortable working quickly in a fast-moving, high-trust team.
• Skilled in Python and Django.
• Experience with Postgres, Redis, and Celery.
• [Bonus] Experience shipping AI-assisted products/features.
• [Bonus] Excited by observability (logs, metrics, traces) or UI state transitions.

• Backend: Django (5.2), Celery, Postgres, Redis
• Frontend: HTMX, AlpineJS, Tailwind
• Infra/Tooling: Azure, Github Actions, Sentry, Datadog, Linear
