About The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled and energetic Director of Product Marketing. This person will have strong experience in B2B SaaS product marketing with a proven record of launching and positioning B2B SaaS offerings to targeted industries and personas. We are looking for an expert who understands our clients’ needs and challenges, their buyer personas and motivations, as well as the competitive landscape. This person is passionate about creating and communicating differentiated value propositions that will stand out in an increasingly noisy and competitive market.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the product management team to understand and distill key product functionality and problems our solutions solve into concise and clear positioning for all stakeholders (sales, marketing, press, analysts, clients and prospects)
- Create, refine and effectively communicate Katata’s differentiated value propositions.
- Develop, manage, and train (internal teams) on key buyer personas and ideal customer profiles within each of the target segments we serve.
- Manage the GTM launch of new solutions and features, as well as hone the positioning, pricing and packaging of existing products to help drive increased adoption
- Develop sales and marketing collateral (e.g. - web content, presentations, enablement, webinars, FAQs) and sales tools (Playbooks) to enable sales to optimally position our solutions and services, and
- Closely partner with sales enablement to help create and curate sales training & assets
- Work closely with the analyst relations and customer marketing teams and support with product roadmap presentations.
- Track key competitors, produce competitive analysis, and make recommendations on how to position effectively against competitors.
- Partner with the Revenue Marketing team (Demand gen) to create bespoke content to fuel targeted sales and marketing campaigns.
- Produce segment-specific content to drive awareness, consideration, engagement and ultimately purchase of Kantata’s solutions and services.
- Manage internal product marketing communications as the connection between Product Management and other strategic stakeholders, including PR, Pre- and Post-Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Client Success.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of marketing experience.
- 5+ years of product marketing (or product management, solution consulting) experience at a B2B technology company.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Experience working with global teams and customers to define market needs and successfully bring new products to market.
- Strong affinity for deeply understanding target audiences, customer needs, competitive landscape, and sales management processes.
- Track record of success driving outcomes across an organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to clearly communicate and present compelling story and value-based outcomes our solutions provide.
- Strong multi-tasking, and project management skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Pragmatic Marketing certification a plus
- Experience marketing a professional services business or offering a plus
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
