Senior WordPress Web Designer (Full-Time, Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Web Designer with at least 7 years of professional experience in web design and development. This is a full-time, fully remote position for someone who lives and breathes WordPress—and doesn’t break into a cold sweat at the mention of PHP or JavaScript.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing and developing company and eCommerce websites (yes, that includes stores).

• Creating custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch.

• Writing clean, secure, and scalable code in PHP and JavaScript.

• Collaborating with project managers, content creators, and other developers to bring sites to life.

• Maintaining and updating existing WordPress sites with performance, UX, and SEO in mind.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional experience in web design and development.

• Expert-level proficiency in WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.

• Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Excellent command of spoken and written English is a must.

• Experience with WooCommerce and other common WordPress plugins.

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

• Familiarity with modern JS frameworks (React, Vue) is a bonus.

• Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices.

• Graphic design skills using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
