UI Engineer (WordPress & Drupal)

We’re hiring a design-driven UI Engineer with strong WordPress, Drupal and UX/UI capability, who enjoys working with international clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve client CMS platforms’ (WordPress and Drupal) UX/UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance usability and engagement.
• Manage and maintain WordPress and Drupal websites, including themes, templates, and layouts.
• Modify and maintain existing layout structures inside Drupal Twig templates and WordPress PHP templates/block files, Elementor and Gutenberg.
• Test WordPress and Drupal websites across browsers and devices and resolve usability or UI issues.
• Apply UX and UI best practices across layout, hierarchy, typography, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Confidently present design concepts and UX decisions to international (UK and American) stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience as a Web Designer or UI Engineer.
• Direct experience modifying Drupal Twig templates (.html.twig) and working within WordPress template files.
• Strong front-end engineering skills across HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.
• A deep understanding of responsive design principles, typography, whitespace, and strict visual consistency.
• Experience in maintaining and improving the front-end user experience across CMS platforms.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with the confidence to communicate clearly with international (UK and US) clients and stakeholders.
