We’re looking for a proactive, data-driven Shopify Marketing & Retention Specialist in the DTC food and wellness industry — someone who thrives in fast-paced, purpose-driven environments and is passionate about driving growth. You have deep experience managing the backend of Shopify, building marketing flows, and optimizing customer retention through personalized outreach. You're not just an executor — you're a strategic thinker who can spot opportunities, build campaigns, and track the numbers that matter.

What you'll do:

• Audit and repair Shopify flows (abandoned cart, win-back, post-purchase, etc.)
• Segment and retarget a 10,000+ customer base via SMS and email.
• Manage and optimize product tags, upsells, and performance tracking.
• Execute add-on strategies to boost average order value (AOV)
• Coordinate with founders on campaign timing, promotions, and brand launches.
• Write and schedule engaging SMS and email campaigns.
• Monitor KPIs: AOV, churn, CAC, retention rate.
• Build simple dashboards or reports to visualize progress.
• Contribute to brand visuals using tools like Canva.
• Provide insights and ideas to keep pushing performance forward.

What you'll need:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify marketing (backend flows + product management).
• Experience with platforms like Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive, or Omnisend.
• Strong grasp of lifecycle marketing and re-engagement tactics.
• Fluent in key eCommerce metrics (LTV, CAC, AOV, churn, retention).
• Skilled in pulling data from Shopify and Google Analytics.
• Experience in DTC food, fitness, or subscription-based businesses is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus.
• Excellent copywriting, creativity, and testing mindset.
