Backend Engineer — AI Agents & Cybersecurity

As a core member of the engineering team, you’ll have a direct impact on product direction and technical architecture. What You'll Be Working On:

• AI Agent Infrastructure: Help design and scale intelligent, agentic systems that address complex security challenges.

• Backend Architecture: Build and maintain scalable, secure backend services that power our AI-driven product.

• Full Ownership: Lead the full development lifecycle—from design through to deployment and maintenance.

• Collaborative Engineering: Work closely with design, product, and fellow engineers to deliver cohesive, high-impact features.

• Performance & Security: Continuously refine system performance and harden infrastructure against threats.

• Technical Leadership: Contribute to internal standards, lead by example in code reviews, and mentor newer engineers as the team grows.

• Prototyping: Rapidly develop and iterate on new ideas, keeping pace with the evolving AI and cybersecurity landscape.

They're Looking For:

• 7+ Years of Backend Experience: Proficient in backend engineering with a strong foundation in REST APIs, database design, and server-side frameworks (Python preferred).
• ML/AI Integration: Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or other AI services into production systems; familiarity with frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex is a bonus.
• Cloud & DevOps Skills: Proficient with AWS (or similar), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD best practices.
• Security-Minded Thinking: Understanding of performance-optimized, reliable system design with security as a priority.
• Startup Mentality: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast iteration cycles in a high-growth, early-stage environment.
• Strong Communicator: Able to collaborate cross-functionally and advocate for technical solutions clearly and effectively.
