Your Role

As Staff AI Engineer, you’ll join a world-class team at the intersection of AI and healthcare. You’ll be a key player in shaping new, AI-powered solutions and driving the development of next-generation technologies. You’ll report directly to executive leadership and may have the opportunity to build and lead your own engineering team.

Key Aspects

• Pioneer AI-driven healthtech: Develop and implement advanced large language model (LLM) technologies that unlock powerful insights from vast healthtech data.
• Lead innovation projects: Architect and deliver high-impact, greenfield initiatives—ranging from agentic research platforms to AI-driven knowledge management systems.
• Empower founders and patients: Work closely with talented entrepreneurs to create and launch transformative healthtech solutions with global reach.

What We’re Seeking

• Senior engineering experience: At least six years in a lead technical role at a high-growth, venture-backed company. Experience as a founder or in investment settings is a strong plus.
• Technical mastery: Deep expertise in Python and its ecosystem (e.g., asyncio, FastAPI, PyTorch), as well as experience with agentic frameworks
• Modern tech stack fluency: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and data science tools (TensorFlow, LangChain, Scikit-Learn, Pandas).
• AI/ML production experience: Demonstrated success in deploying scalable, stateful agentic workflows and LLM-based applications in real-world environments.
• Strong academic foundation: Degree(s) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from a leading institution.
• Passion and perspective: A well-rounded individual with interests beyond technology—whether in the arts, sports, entrepreneurship, or community.
