Location: Seattle, WA(Remote)

Key Technologies: Python, Amazon EKS, Kafka, ArgoCD, Splunk, Gatling, Tanzu Observability/WaveFront (VMware Aria), DynamoDB (minor usage)

About the Role

Role Focus

Broad application development role covering design, documentation, and resiliency

Core Objective

Build software to enable automated transition of applications between AWS regions with clear documentation and design standards

Key Technologies

Python, Amazon EKS, Kafka, ArgoCD, Splunk, Gatling, Tanzu Observability/WaveFront (VMware Aria), DynamoDB (minor usage)

Design & Architecture

✅ Strong requirement – must create and document design for multi-region resiliency

Documentation Skills

Strongly required (architecture diagrams, recovery workflows, system documentation)

Backend Development (Python, AWS SDK)

Moderate (balanced with design responsibilities)

Resiliency / DR Experience

Must understand and plan multi-region disaster recovery at design level

DevOps Tools / CI-CD

Familiarity with ArgoCD, GitOps, and Tanzu Observability

AWS Services

EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB (minor), Application Recovery Controller (ARC)
