We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Program Manager to join our team at K&A Engineering in remotely. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Role Expectations:

Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for projects and initiatives
Ensure that project objectives are clearly defined, stakeholders' needs are understood, and project scope is well-defined, which is crucial for effective project management.
Communicate program standards, challenges and performance to obtain buy-in and support from executive leadership
Establish/create templates, guidelines, and best practices for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
Develop a governance framework to ensure projects align with organizational objectives, manage risks, and adhere to regulatory requirements
Define roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes within the PMO structure
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the PMO and project delivery
Regularly monitor project performance, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments to optimize PMO operations
Identify inefficiencies or gaps in existing project management processes and workflows
Analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to streamline project delivery and enhance productivity
Ability to effectively communicate through reporting, verbal and written communication, the health of the program, challenges and solutions

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent education with 7 years relevant experience
7+ years of experience in Program Management
MBA preferred
Professional Certification (PMP) Preferred
Strong knowledge of managing and executing projects for electrical power industries especially for electrical utilities
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, power generation, transmission, substation and distribution systems/components and technology, contract management, and project delivery methods
Candidate must be able travel to various locations in New York for client meetings
