Growth Marketing Lead – Midwest

This is a first-on-the-ground marketing role in the US, focused on customer acquisition and retention across Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Iowa. You’ll be the local voice of the business, bridging their global team with US customers. The role is hands-on, strategic, and experimental—ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to build something meaningful from scratch. This hire, along with a second to follow, will be instrumental in shaping their future US strategy. This role will start out remote, but will transition to a hybrid role in our new Chicago office opening in 2026. Candidates WILL be expected to relocate to the Chicago office next year if they are not local. Candidates MUST have experience with Sports Betting, Casino, online gambling, or a similar industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own acquisition and retention strategy across Midwest states
  • Run CAC/LTV experiments across paid, affiliate, and lifecycle channels
  • Localize brand messaging and partnerships for US markets
  • Drive CRM and lifecycle marketing (Dotdigital or similar)
  • Shape go-to-market roadmap in collaboration with Product
  • Manage marketing budget (to be defined) and external agencies
  • Act as the first US marketing hire with potential trajectory to VP/GM
  • Collaborate closely with UK marketing and product teams

About You

  • 4–7 years in performance/growth/acquisition marketing
  • Remote for now, but are open to relocating/commuting to new Chicago office in 2026.
  • Proven years of experience in sports betting, DFS, mobile gaming, or ticketing
  • Proven track record of ROI-positive campaigns and channel ownership
  • Comfortable with omni-channel marketing and paid media
  • Strong analytical skills (Kibana, Sisense, Lightdash)
  • Product-first mindset with startup/small-division experience
  • High autonomy, ownership, and willingness to test bold ideas
  • Hungry to make a mark and build a brand from the ground up
