As the Senior Marketing Manager, your mission is to lead the end-to-end execution of Juniper’s product launches - uniting strategy, storytelling, design, and delivery into campaigns that perform. You’ll manage a cross-disciplinary team of Marketing Managers and Designers, ensuring that every launch is beautifully executed, on-brand, and on time.

This role sits at the intersection of big-picture planning and creative craft. You’ll create the structure and clarity that enable the team to move fast without sacrificing quality - while fostering a collaborative, thoughtful environment where strong ideas thrive. You’ll be responsible for bringing campaigns to life that excite creators, engage customers, and reflect Juniper’s commitment to world-class storytelling.

About Juniper

Juniper is a crowdfunding and merchandise platform for independent creators. We don’t just run the funding platform (like Kickstarter), we also create the actual products, launch on creator-branded storefronts, and ship to customers! Juniper has enabled creators to crowdfund specialized products like board games and lava lamps, and fund passion projects like animated shows and charitable initiatives. Since 2016, we’ve created and launched over 2,500 unique physical products and generated over $200M in revenue for creators. Click here to view some of our products and storefronts!

Areas You’ll Own

  • Cohesive, High-Performing GTM Campaigns: You will lead the GTM execution of every campaign, ensuring it tells a cohesive story. These campaigns will be strategically aligned, visually cohesive, and executed with precision across creator-branded storefronts, email, and social media.

  • A High-Functioning, Cross-Disciplinary Marketing Team: You will be responsible for managing the Marketing Managers and Designers, fostering a culture of clarity, accountability, and mutual respect to ensure high-quality work with minimal friction.

  • Elevated Creative Execution Across All Campaigns: You will uphold high standards for creative execution, ensuring all marketing assets align with storytelling, design quality, and brand guidelines. This will build trust and capture the attention of creators and customers alike.

  • Campaign Operations That Scale with Confidence: You will own the development and execution of systems for briefing, feedback, QA, and reporting, ensuring they are built for speed, clarity, and scalability while maintaining excellence.

  • A Culture of Learning & Continuous Improvement: You will drive the team’s ongoing reflection on campaign performance, turning insights into action to ensure every launch is sharper and more effective than the last.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead GTM execution across launches, ensuring strategy, creative, and timelines are aligned
  • Manage and develop a team of up to 6 across both marketing and creative disciplines
  • Build and maintain scalable systems for briefing, feedback, & QA
  • Uphold high creative standards across all campaign assets, from copy to visuals to UX
  • Serve as the connective tissue between Marketing, Product Development, Brand Strategy, Launch Ops, and Creators and their teams
  • Drive campaign retros and turn performance data into actionable insights
  • Foster a team culture that values collaboration, creativity, ownership, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of marketing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a people management role
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams - ideally across both strategy and design
  • Strong storytelling instincts - able to shape and uphold a clear narrative across platforms
  • Proven strength in go-to-market planning and campaign orchestration
  • Clear, constructive creative direction - able to give feedback that sharpens the work
  • Excellent project and process management skills; thrives on keeping things moving
  • Comfort with data and performance reporting - not a data scientist, but insight-driven
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, able to navigate nuance and influence across teams
  • A leadership style that balances structure with empathy
  • Excited by a fast-paced, creator-focused environment where ideas become reality

What we Offer

You’ll join a high-performance team that’s reinventing what it means to launch a product in the creator economy. Here, strategic thinking and creative excellence go hand-in-hand - and your ability to unify diverse teams and drive operational rigor will make a direct impact on our success. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy coaching high-performing teams, and want to own the end-to-end marketing experience, you’ll thrive here. We also offer:

  • Competitive Compensation + Benefits – Includes paid time off and a company-wide paid shutdown during the December holiday season.
  • Remote-First Work Environment – Juniper has offices in Toronto and Vancouver. However, we let employees choose what work setting works best for them.
  • Flexible Work Schedule – We accommodate flexible hours, as long as you are delivering results and maintaining a seamless workflow with your team and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Annual Allowance – Invest in your wellness, education, home office setup, and more.

Juniper is an equal-opportunity employer. If you are in need of an accommodation as part of the interview process, please let us know when you apply.

We know that experience comes in many different forms. If you do not meet all the specified qualifications but feel you're a great fit for this role based on your skills, interests, and vision, let us know why.

Please note that only candidates who are selected for an interview will be contacted directly. Thank you for your interest!
