Job Title: Performance Marketing Manager

About the Company:
This company is a specialized paid media agency focused on marketing to complex, technical, and developer-focused audiences. We work with B2B SaaS companies, particularly in developer tools and AI, managing campaigns across platforms like Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and niche developer channels (Carbon Ads, Ethical Ads, podcasts, newsletters, and direct media buys).
We operate as a lean, high-performance team supported by platform specialists and contractors. We are now looking for a Performance Marketing Manager who can take ownership of campaign execution, reporting, and client delivery.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will manage paid media campaigns across multiple platforms and clients. You will act as the central point of coordination between strategy, execution, and reporting.
The ideal candidate is someone who understands both performance marketing and business growth, can analyze data deeply, and confidently communicate insights to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Management & Execution
- Plan, build, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across:
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads
- LinkedIn Ads
- Reddit Ads
- Manage campaign structure, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and creatives
- Execute direct media buys (developer newsletters, podcast sponsorships, niche ad networks)
- Coordinate with platform specialists for advanced optimizations
2. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Set up and manage conversion tracking (Google Tag Manager, Pixels, CAPI, UTMs)
- Build and maintain dashboards using Looker Studio / Google Sheets
- Prepare weekly & monthly reports with actionable insights
- Analyze and reconcile data across:
- GA4
- CRM tools
- Platform dashboards
- Identify attribution gaps and performance discrepancies
3. Strategy & Growth Optimization
- Allocate budgets using a test-and-scale framework
- Identify opportunities to improve ROI and shift budgets across channels
- Develop strategies for B2B and long sales cycles
- Continuously test creatives, audiences, and messaging
- Stay updated on new ad formats, platform changes, and trends
4. Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare client-facing reports and presentations
- Participate in client calls and explain performance insights clearly
- Recommend next steps, experiments, and growth strategies
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and contractors
5. Business Development & Marketing Support
- Support growth initiatives through:
- Paid campaigns for lead generation
- Funnel optimization
- Experimentation with new acquisition channels
- Contribute ideas to improve agency offerings and performance frameworks
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing / paid media
- Experience with at least two major platforms (Google Ads + Meta/LinkedIn/Reddit)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Conversion tracking
- Attribution models
- Campaign optimization
- Experience in B2B marketing / SaaS marketing
- Proficiency in:
- Looker Studio
- Google Sheets / Excel
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal English)
- Highly organized and self-driven
Preferred
- Experience targeting developer or technical audiences
- Knowledge of niche ad platforms (Carbon Ads, Ethical Ads, Reddit communities)
- Experience with B2B SaaS companies (AI, developer tools, infra)
- Familiarity with:
- HubSpot / CRM tools
- Plausible Analytics
- Experience managing podcast sponsorships or newsletter ads
Nice-to-Have
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, automation workflows)
- Knowledge of marketing automation or AI-driven campaign optimization
- Experience working with designers on ad creatives
