Looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer for a long term remote position with a large global client.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Lead UI/UX Designer with experience working with Complex User Flow Applications and heavy data-driven/data display projects.
Responsibilities / Key Jobs to be Done
- Lead and define overall user experience strategy and experience design for products/product groups
- Define key design goals and requirements
- Conduct user research to Client insights, define user personas, and map user journeys
- Utilize methods such as field observations, interviews, contextual inquiries, surveys, remote usability testing and A/B testing to drive user research to inform, iterate, validate, and challenge the product design,
- Client and surface underlying tensions, workarounds, mental models, deeply held false beliefs, silent injustices and/or cultural barriers.
- Collaborate with GOC, Function / Franchise / Region / Product Group leaders to ensure successful development, release, and launch of world class product
- Audit the landscape competitively and for analogous inspiration that can be utilized in the current design process
- Create distinctive, branded digital experiences that are desirable and consistent across multiple platforms, devices and channels
- Consult on prototypes developed ensuring they maximize essential learnings about intended audience and are incorporated in for the end user experience and key interactions
- Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer driven design
- Produce high-quality graphics and visual assets
- Develop new product concepts, storyboards, detailed interaction designs and screen flows, and prototypes to clearly articulate solutions
- Create compelling visual designs that align to company and product brand standards
- Conduct concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions
- Actively collaborate as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately
- Track user experience metrics and reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics
Key Skills
- Proven experience leading design of effective and durable digital products
- Skilled at creating interaction design solutions for desktop, web, and mobile applications
- Ability to lead synthesis, design distinctive, intuitive creative artifacts (e.g., wireframes, task flows, screen mockups, prototypes)
- Understanding of component-based design systems that can be applied at scale, Experience conducting user research, user testing and optionally, quantitative methods and analytics
- Expert command of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Sketch, InVision)
- Thought leader in designing systems and tools to enable customer interactions and collaboration (e.g., digital self, precision marketing, DAM, immersive technology) *
- Experience in underlying conceptual models based on human-centered design principles to deliver a fully aligned, context-driven experience*
- Foundational skills (at minimum) in Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Intelligent Automation and Emerging Technology*
- Seasoned product design expert. Has designed and scaled multiple large-scale products (or portfolios of products) in a Product Management environment
- Proven leadership experience advocating customer centricity and ability to influence and shape experience strategies with business leadership.

- Preferred technical experience (e.g., Sketch, Figma or Adobe Suite); nice to have technical experience (e.g., Jira, Invision, Zeplin, HTML, JS, CSS, Material-UI, React-JS, Bootstrap)
- Proven experience working in design teams in an Agile Product Development setting
