Senior Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer who can bring ideas to life through thoughtful design. This role requires someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and translate them into visually compelling materials that connect with target audiences. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of branding, marketing, and storytelling, capable of balancing technical precision with creative flair across a wide variety of deliverables.

This position is part-time, contract based, working for Jrae Consulting Inc. on an as-needed basis. Currently seeking no more than 20 hours per month. As client needs change, the opportunity can also evolve.

Hourly rate: $40-$50/hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Create, design, and update various print and digital collateral, including:
• Brand kits and visual identity systems
• Event and marketing materials (flyers, banners, signage, social assets)
• Email templates and campaigns
• Internal materials such as handbooks, brochures, safety manuals, and organizational charts
• Presentations and reports
• Collaborate with team members and clients from concept to completion to ensure designs meet brand and project goals.
• Maintain brand consistency across all design touchpoints and adhere to established brand guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative quality and deadlines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of new visual concepts.
• Prepare and deliver final design files optimized for print or digital use.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across print and digital.
• Experience designing and building email templates within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) familiarity with responsive design, content blocks, and brand integration.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and other relevant design tools.
• Familiarity with presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote) and web/email design basics.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both creative and non-creative team members.
