Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Full Stack Engineer at Jouvery. The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for back-end and front-end web development. The role involves working on all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

As a Jouvery Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to a small team of productive engineers striving to continually improve the scope and quality of Jouvery’s product offerings. Your responsibilities will include:

• Impactfully contributing to the development of Jouvery’s core product. You will need to maintain a consistent pace and measure your impact by the day or week, not the quarter or year.
• Writing well-designed, performant, & testable code.
• Working (remotely) hand-in-hand with other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, written designs, and any other means of collaboration that aids in the successful delivery of product.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, leading projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of product initiatives.
• Supporting our customers by rapidly solving day-to-day technical issues, continually improving core product areas, and writing defect-free features.

Qualifications

• Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills - 3+ years with Node.js, Express
• Front-End Development and CSS skills 3+ years with Angular, React, Next.js
• Cloud experience - 3+ years with AWS or GCP
• Experience in API Design and REST API Development - 3+ years
• Experience in Full-Stack Development and Software Architecture
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (preferably AWS CDK)
• Experience with DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment
