Design Specialist

Role Description The Design Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves developing visual concepts and graphic assets for digital and print materials that support Jood’s campaigns, brand identity, and social impact initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating layouts, infographics, and promotional materials; collaborating with internal teams to translate strategic objectives into compelling visual designs; and preparing designs for production or development using CAD and other design tools when needed. The Design Specialist will also conduct research to inform design decisions, ensure consistency with brand guidelines, and contribute creative ideas to enhance audience engagement across Jood’s platforms.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Graphic Design and Graphics for digital and print media.
• Ability to conduct Research to inform and refine design concepts and campaigns.
• Experience with Architecture-related visualization or spatial design, where relevant to projects.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for detailed design and visualization work.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools).
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in mission-driven, social impact, or community-focused organizations is an advantage.
