Director of Marketing

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Marketing to join our leadership team and drive the marketing vision and strategy for our growing company. This individual will play a critical role in scaling our marketing efforts, enhancing brand awareness, and aligning marketing initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and results-driven leader with experience in B2B marketing, specifically in SaaS, technology, commercial construction, or the field service industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand positioning, drive demand, and expand market share.
Lead a team of marketing professionals to implement campaigns across digital, social, content, events, and traditional channels.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and corporate vision.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities.
Brand Management & Positioning
Ensure consistency of brand messaging and tone across all marketing materials, digital platforms, and customer touchpoints.
Oversee the development of brand campaigns, including customer success stories, thought leadership, case studies, and product launches.
Enhance brand visibility and awareness through public relations, media outreach, and high-profile industry events.
Demand Generation & Lead Management
Design and execute effective lead generation campaigns to support sales pipeline growth.
Use data-driven insights to optimize lead nurturing and conversion processes.
Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives and improve customer acquisition strategies.
Market Research & Analysis
Lead market research efforts to understand customer needs, segmentations, and buying behaviors in the field service software industry.
Continuously evaluate and measure marketing performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust tactics accordingly.
Maintain a keen understanding of emerging marketing technologies and industry trends to ensure the company remains ahead of the curve.
Content Strategy & Development
Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content, including blogs, white papers, webinars, videos, and social media.
Develop a content calendar that aligns with the overall marketing strategy and supports lead generation and brand awareness efforts.
Optimize content for SEO, user engagement, and conversion.
Budget & Resource Management
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across initiatives and campaigns.
Track ROI for marketing programs and adjust spend to optimize results.
Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns.
Team Development & Leadership
Lead, mentor, and motivate the marketing team to achieve departmental and company objectives.
Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the marketing team.
Support the ongoing professional development of team members and ensure they have the tools and resources to succeed.
Ideal Education and Experience:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
5-8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic role within a SaaS, technology, or field service software company.
Proven experience in leading demand generation, brand management, and content strategy efforts in a rapidly growing business.
Strong experience with data analysis, marketing automation tools, and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo).
Experience managing a marketing budget and achieving a positive ROI on marketing spend.
Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams to align marketing with business objectives.

In-depth understanding of the field service software industry and the unique challenges and opportunities in this market.
