Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative UX Designer with hands-on experience in Salesforce platforms to craft intuitive, user-centered experiences across web and mobile environments. This role focuses on designing seamless, efficient, and engaging user interfaces within the Salesforce Lightning Experience, leveraging the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and best-in-class design practices. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, business analysts, and developers to deliver compelling designs that enhance user satisfaction and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
User Experience & Interface Design:
- Create visually compelling and user-friendly UI components, custom pages, and applications within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Design responsive interfaces optimized for both Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Mobile applications.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design solutions clearly.
- Define and document user personas, journey maps, and interaction models to guide design decisions and ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Conduct user research, surveys, interviews, and usability testing to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
Salesforce-Specific Customization & Design:
- Utilize Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) to ensure compliance with platform standards and consistency across components.
- Collaborate with developers to implement custom Lightning components and Visualforce pages, ensuring high usability and performance.
- Ensure cross-platform design consistency and a mobile-first approach in all Salesforce UX deliverables.
Agile Collaboration & Communication:
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with product teams to gather requirements, translate them into design solutions, and align with technical feasibility.
- Maintain design documentation, including style guides, reusable components, and design specifications to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Facilitate design reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end users.
Usability Testing & Continuous Improvement:
- Plan and execute usability tests, interpret feedback, and iterate designs for improved user experience.
- Analyze user behavior and usage metrics to identify UX issues and propose actionable enhancements.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and UX/UI design trends to continuously improve design standards and capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 7+ years of experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing work in Salesforce UX design.
- Expertise in Salesforce Lightning Experience, Lightning Design System (SLDS), and Salesforce mobile UI/UX.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong grasp of UX/UI principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and accessibility.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.
- Ability to clearly communicate design ideas and collaborate with developers and stakeholders in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce Communities (Experience Cloud).
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce App Builder.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively collaborate with development teams.
