Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our brand and usability standards. You will collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to bring digital ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and update responsive websites, landing pages, and other digital assets.
- Work closely with UX designers and developers to translate wireframes and prototypes into visually polished designs.
- Ensure consistency in design across all web platforms and products.
- Optimize designs for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure websites align with branding and messaging goals.
- Conduct usability testing and implement feedback to improve user experience.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously with a keen attention to deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic knowledge is a plus).
- Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Shopify).
- Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and branding.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile or collaborative environment.
- UI/UX design experience or certification.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Knowledge of SEO principles related to web design.
- Experience with animation tools or motion graphics (e.g., After Effects, Lottie).
