Software Engineer or Application Developer

100% REMOTE

6+ Months Contract

• 5-10 years' as a software engineer or application developer
• UKG Pro WFM and WKG WFC
• Kronos Workforce Integrations Manager (WIM) and Kronos infrastructure
• 3+ years of Developing & Testing applications using UKG Workforce

Team is going through a transformation journey

Migrating from UKG WFC to UKG Pro WFM (March 2027 is the expected completion)

Currently in the design phase

Lots of integration work needs to be migrated from WFC to WFM; Integration work is a priority

Understanding of Pro platform and the WFC environment

Dell Boomi is used for integrations

UKG Boomi Integrations Experience Required

Global IT Company

8AM EST start time

Flexible with times; for example, deployments but still a 40 hour weeks; for example, half hour flexibility here and there

Soft skills:

Collaborating with the team; contributes to a cohesive team

Communicates well

Works together well with team members

Interview process: 1 round with HM and other team members

Boomi or other certifications are a plus

Retail experience is a plus

Minimum Qualifications (Requirements)

• 5-10 years as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
• UKG Pro WFM experience (required)
• Integrations build using UKG Boomi (required)
• Kronos Workforce Integrations Manager (WIM) and UKG Pro (required)
• 3+ years of Developing & Testing applications using UKG Workforce

Preferred Qualifications

• Management/Center, Workforce central, UKG Pro WFM Time & Attendance, Schedule Optimization, ATK etc., applications
• 3+ SaaS/Cloud Practices
• 2+ Knowledge of Middleware Technologies like Boomi, Apigee, MOVEit Automation, etc
• 2+ years of experience developing applications using databases ex., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB etc.,
• 2+ years of experience with Agile and DevOps tools such as Git/Gitlab, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence etc.,
• 3+ Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• Knowledge of Oracle HRIS, Workday etc., with respect to integrating with UKG Time & Attendance systems
• Knowledge and Experience with Retail business process
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps tools such as Git/Gitlab, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence etc.
