Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience as noted below; OR an Associate's degree in Computer/Science/Engineering or related field with 7 years of experience.

About the Project - The Cardiology Systems unit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer that can provide front end development for four specific projects. The awardee will work closely with the client team to develop and implement a comprehensive solution that will address the following areas:

• REACT upgrade

• Work in partnership with the system engineers to complete the technology migration from Java to REACT, creating an interface that is focused solely on presentation.

• Provide best practice solutions by participating in design and requirement discussions.

• Understand and integrate solutions using Storybook

• Creation of a Debug section showing actions on a study

• Work in partnership with the System Administrator Engineer on developing a solution that presents to the Echo Liaisons the actions on a specific study this will include

• HL7 (Health Level 7) standard processing of incoming and outgoing messages

• Linking of images, video, and Echocardiograms

• Measurements

• Statements

• Duration of ultrasound image capture

• Information related to set-up

• Creations of an education solution

• Work in partnership with the system engineers to meet the requirements needed to record and support education of Sonographers, fellows, and residents for training.

• Create a friendly interface that allow studies to be configured for education

• Create a friendly interface that allows the user to complete a study in the same manner the Echo system uses

• Create a friendly way to provide feedback to the user

• Create an interface that allows teachers/mentors to understand how the learner is doing in comparison with themselves and peers

• Allow the system to run in an impaired state and recover

• Work in partnership with the system engineers to meet the requirements needed to allow the system to run in an impaired state and recover

• Create a notification process for the users to see the system is impaired

• Allow the users to view how the impairment is affecting the completion of studies and actions that must be taken to assure patient care is not impacted

• Create a notification process that helps the user to understand the system is recovering
