About the Role:

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in complex environments and enjoys driving modernization efforts. This position sits at the intersection of backend architecture, cloud services, and full-stack application development. You'll help lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure platforms that power critical business systems-while mentoring team members and shaping technical direction.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build robust APIs and distributed systems using modern Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot) and .NET when needed.
• Develop and integrate user-facing applications using frameworks like React, Angular, or Node.js.
• Lead modernization initiatives to refactor or replace legacy platforms with cloud-native solutions.
• Ensure secure coding practices, data integrity, and API reliability across all services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and architecture teams to deliver strategic features.
• Contribute to DevOps pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD) and agile development practices.
• Coach junior developers and contribute to a strong, collaborative engineering culture.

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with Java (Spring Boot), and experience with .NET or other backend languages.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful services, API design, and integration standards (OpenAPI, SOAP optional).
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks-React or Angular preferred.
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments and related tools/services.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control practices.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and deliver secure, scalable code.
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
