Job Description

Role: Project Manager- Energy domain

Location: Remote, but may be asked on occasion to work in the NYC or Albany office (5% Travel)

Type: Contract

Required:

Main Responsibilities

• Manage contracts and projects with local governments for CECP and JTSRP
• Program management contact management. and meeting with community
• Review deliverables, process contracts, track budgets, and approve invoices.
• Work closely with community contractors and stakeholders to enhance clean energy project outcomes.
• Identify and develop resources/tools for local governments to support clean energy growth.
• Collaborate with state agencies on energy planning and policy development.
• Assist in solicitation (RFP) processes and support project documentation in Salesforce.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, review documents, and contribute to clean energy advocacy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 7 10 years in project management or related roles.

Education:

• Bachelor s or master s in engineering, environmental policy, urban planning, or related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, Oracle/Peoplesoft, SharePoint.
• Strong database and budget tracking skills.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
• Strategic thinking and policy development
• Highly organized, detail-oriented
• Public speaking and presentation skills
• Strong on Database

Specialized Knowledge:

• Experience with local governments or clean energy programs, and familiarity with local renewable energy regulations.

Preferred Knowledge:

• Background in local government operations or clean energy programs.
• Familiarity with renewable energy regulations and electric vehicle (EV) planning programs.
