Annually renewing contract, location preference is Charlotte, NC, but remote ok. Must have familiarity with GIS technologies such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms. Prior experience in the electric utility industry will have preference over others, No 3rd party vendors.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst role, with a strong track record of delivering successful software products.
- Extensive experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and Agile product development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, and RDS, in a GIS or data-intensive environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with development teams using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management software.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Prior experience in the electric utility industry, particularly in GIS applications for grid management, asset tracking, or outage response.
- Familiarity with GIS technologies such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of data integration, spatial analysis, and geospatial data visualization.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures
