Job Title: Teradata ML Data Scientist with ClearScape Analytics

Location: Remote (Must reside in Scottsdale, AZ at the time of submission)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Teradata ML Data Scientist with expertise in ClearScape Analytics to support financial forecasting initiatives. In this role, you will develop and implement machine learning models on the Teradata ClearScape platform to generate precise, actionable forecasts that drive strategic decision-making. An immediate focus will be the creation of a forecasting model for annual product renewal units at the individual product level.

You will work closely with finance and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into analytical solutions and guiding knowledge transfer to internal engineering teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

Partner with finance leaders and business stakeholders to understand forecasting needs and challenges

Design, develop, test, and deploy machine learning models using Teradata ClearScape Analytics

Build an initial product-level forecast model for annual renewal units

Apply and compare various modeling techniques including time series, regression, and neural networks

Continuously monitor, enhance, and retrain models to align with evolving business conditions

Develop user-friendly analytical tools tailored to the needs of non-technical stakeholders

Communicate methodologies, results, and insights clearly to both technical and business audiences

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and document model development processes for internal teams

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience in advanced analytics and machine learning

Hands-on experience with Teradata ClearScape Analytics

Proficiency in Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages

Proven track record in building and deploying machine learning models

Strong understanding of time series forecasting and other predictive modeling techniques

Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Experience in the financial industry is a plus
