Job Description

The project involves real-time GPS/Geospatial data for our customer's app. They are delivering a classification based off the GPS data in real-time with the goal of decreasing the ping rate from 15 to 10 seconds. The MLE will develop some C# container apps that will integrate with Azure Event Hub.

The right person will need:

• 3 to 5 years of Machine Learning engineering experience and knowledge, and an understanding of classification models.
• ability to program in C#, work in Azure, and manage infrastructure.
• to be able to convert the algorithm that the data scientist produces into something that C# can use.
• an understanding of container apps and Kubernetes style of working, with the ability to build container apps for processing.
• an understanding of Python and the ability to read data scientists code in Python.
• be able to push JSON objects back to an event hub.
• experience with GIT for version control.
• experience with geospatial or GPS data is a huge plus (not required).

The goal is to test the system in late July, iterate on the testing throughout August, and eventually integrate with another team's services (this phase will be critical).
