Job Title: Java Spring Boot Developer

W2 Pay: $120,000 - $130,000 or 1099 $65.00 - $73.00 an hour

Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate need for a Java Spring Boot Developer with strong skills in JAVA and Spring-boot framework with exposure to cloud technologies.

Java Spring Boot Developer Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and maintainable microservices using spring boot.
• Propose and design software solutions while working with multiple IT and business teams.
• Develop code using industry best practices for maintenance of external/internal web site(s), the web-based system(s).
• Test web applications in multi-platform, cross-browser development.
• Work with a QA team, review the test plans and ensure the application is tested for changes accurately.
• Optimize server components for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team on a variety of projects and extend functionality within current web-based applications.
• Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews.

Java Spring Boot Developer Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor s degree in a computer science or related field and 5 plus years of relevant experience is required.
• Software Engineer with solid Java and web service development experience.
• Proficient with fundamental front-end languages such as JavaScript and Python.
• Hands on experience in Java back-end development and skills with Spring-boot framework, Spring core and JPA.
• Familiar with microservices design and understanding design patterns.
• Knowledge of Oracle and MongoDB.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Knowledge of Angular or ReactJS is a plus.
• Knowledge of Data Intelligence Platform tools like Databricks with exposure to AI and lake houses is a plus.
• Experience with message queues like Kafka is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS with API gateway/workflow orchestration/lambda/serverless applications is a plus.
