Job Title: IT Program Manager Healthcare Domain

About the Role:
We are seeking experienced IT Program Managers to lead and oversee complex, cross-functional technology initiatives in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, enterprise systems, and agile program delivery. You will be responsible for aligning business objectives with program execution-ensuring timely delivery, effective risk management, and stakeholder satisfaction across multiple IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale IT programs in the healthcare domain.
- Drive program governance, define KPIs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor program risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
- Implement best practices in project and program management while ensuring adherence to HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare compliance standards.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and clinical teams to ensure technology solutions meet business and regulatory needs.
- Provide executive-level reporting and communicate progress to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management.
- 3 5 years of hands-on experience managing healthcare-related programs.
- Proven success in delivering enterprise software, infrastructure, or digital transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems such as EHR/EMR, FHIR, HL7, payer-provider platforms, or clinical workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and collaboration platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with vendor management, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks and IT compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST).
