Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Graph Data Scientist to design, analyze, and interpret complex graph-based datasets, delivering actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of graph databases, advanced analytics, and Azure cloud services, with expertise in leveraging graph algorithms for predictive modeling and knowledge discovery.
Responsibilities:
- Apply graph theory and analytics to extract insights from large-scale property graphs or semantic triple stores (RDF).
- Design and implement graph-based machine learning models for link prediction, community detection, recommendation systems, and anomaly detection.
- Develop and optimize Gremlin, Cypher, or SPARQL queries to support advanced analytics and data exploration.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Azure Cosmos DB (Gremlin API) or other graph database technologies into analytical workflows.
- Utilize Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, and Key Vault to manage data pipelines and secure analytical environments.
- Implement and evaluate graph algorithms such as PageRank, centrality measures, clustering, and shortest path to uncover relationships and patterns.
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into graph-based data science solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience with graph database technologies (Azure Cosmos DB Gremlin, Neo4j, TigerGraph, Amazon Neptune).
- Proficiency in Gremlin, Cypher, or SPARQL query languages.
- Strong background in graph data modeling and semantic web technologies.
- Hands-on experience with graph algorithms and their application to real-world business problems.
- Proficient in Python, Java, or .NET with relevant data science libraries (NetworkX, GraphFrames, PyTorch Geometric, etc.).
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services for data management and analytics.
- Solid foundation in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional, Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building graph-based recommendation systems or fraud detection solutions.
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) for entity and relationship extraction.
Knowledge of visualization tools such as Gephi, Neo4j Bloom, or Power BI for graph analytics.
