Senior Software Engineer - IAM - OIDC and SAML2

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Location: Remote - CST Work Hours

Interviews: Round 1 interviews will start the week of Aug. 11th (45-minute video interview with team leads) - Round 2 - 1-hour technical panel interview with the engineering team

Start: Mid to late August

We are hiring an experienced Software Engineer to join a high-impact team focused on customer identity and application security. The role combines full-stack development with a strong focus on security integration, mentoring, and collaboration within an Agile/Scrum environment. Ideal candidates will have experience with IAM, specifically OIDC and SAML2-based authentication in custom-built applications.

Job Duties

• Design, prototype, and implement secure and scalable application solutions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, QA, and product owners
• Drive improvements by staying current with the latest web and identity technologies
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code quality through peer reviews
• Support production systems, including occasional after-hours maintenance or on-call rotations

Must Have Qualifications

• 8+ years of web development experience including Angular 4+, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS/SASS
• Experience implementing identity and access controls using OIDC and SAML2 Assertions
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application issues
• Experience mentoring development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience administering Okta or similar IAM tools
