This remote role allows you to work from your current location while providing the opportunity to travel to various client sites across the United States, primarily within the Southeast region.

As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you will be an integral part of a company that offers competitive bonuses based on both company performance and individual contributions. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative fire protection engineering solutions for a wide variety of clients in industries such as commercial, residential, and industrial.
• Work primarily in the design and construction phases of projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient operations.
• Collaborate directly with clients, acting as a primary point of contact to understand their needs and deliver tailored fire protection strategies.
• Utilize advanced tools like computer fire modeling to develop solutions and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations (NFPA, etc.).
• Oversee and guide the work of junior engineers and collaborate with other department teams and senior staff on complex projects.
• Conduct hazard analyses, risk assessments, and technical reporting to ensure optimal safety and compliance.
• Review equipment sizing/P&IDs and perform detailed selection processes for fire protection systems.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is expected to be approximately 5-25%, equating to 2-3 business day trips, 1-2 times per month. This is a great opportunity for professionals who enjoy a balance between remote work and on-site client engagement.

What We Are Looking For:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the fire protection engineering design and construction space.
• Licensing: Professional Engineering (PE) License is preferred or the potential to obtain one in the near future.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 software is a plus.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
