_IT Program Manager (DLP - Data Loss Protection)
_Overview
The IT Program Manager is responsible for leading strategic cybersecurity data protection programs and ensuring effective execution across the enterprise security portfolio. This role focuses on program-level leadership, including defining program strategy, establishing governance, managing interdependencies, and aligning multiple initiatives under a cohesive roadmap.
The Program Manager oversees planning, execution, and reporting for data protection programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise security, privacy, regulatory, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and orchestrate multi-year, cross-functional enterprise data protection and cybersecurity transformation programs.
- Translate cybersecurity and data protection strategy into executable plans with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
- Align data protection initiatives with cloud, digital, privacy, and broader security transformation programs.
- Lead coordination across Business Units.
- Work with stakeholders to intake data protection and cybersecurity engagement requests and requirements, partnering with Product Owners to translate requests into service delivery and roadmap features.
- Drive consensus on priorities, sequencing, and dependencies across initiatives.
- Facilitate decision-making forums, steering committees, working groups, and architecture review boards.
- Resolve cross-team blockers and escalate risks appropriately.
- Plan and manage multi-wave rollouts across the data protection and cybersecurity landscape.
- Manage integrated timelines, resources, and interdependencies.
- Help establish program governance structures, RACI models, decision rights, and transformation operating models.
- Track and mitigate delivery, operational, regulatory, and adoption risks.
- Maintain audit readiness for data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity controls.
- Drive enterprise adoption through coordinated change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Communicate progress, risks, and value to stakeholders and leadership in clear business terms.
- Define and track program KPIs and KRIs.
- Produce executive dashboards and status reporting.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven experience in program management with a focus on cybersecurity and data protection.
- Strong operational background in requirements gathering, intake, and prioritization.
- Hands-on knowledge of data protection technologies, privacy controls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with data classification, encryption, data loss prevention, regulatory compliance, and privacy frameworks.
- Expertise in project and program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
