IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.
Our client is looking for a Certified Project Manager who will be responsible for technical and overall project management with a focus on infrastructure and application initiatives.
Tasks
- Responsible for technical and overall project management with a focus on infrastructure and application initiatives.
- Develops project charters, plans, deliverables, and other project artifacts.
- Works closely with the project sponsor and IT senior management to understand and prioritize project tasks.
- Solves complex technical problems.
- Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternative.
- Builds an effective team and directs the work of the project team to meet project milestones.
- Develops standards, policies, and procedures.
- Researches new technology and develops business cases to support technology services and solutions.
- Participates in special projects as required.

Skills Required:
- 12+ years - Project management experience with leading large and complex technical systems and services with strong customer service and relationship management experience
- 10+ years - Experience Leading Technical and/or infrastructure projects
- 10+ years - Project documentation skills and experience to support project chartering, scoping, and other project deliverables
- 5+ years - Change management experience
- 10+ years - Experience in technical writing and documentation
- 10+ years - Analytical/problem solving skills
- 10+ years - MS Office Products (Excel, Outlook) experience
- 3+ years - MS Project experience
- 5+ years - Experience / expertise in implementation of large, complicated models and processes
- 5+ years - User test, system test and user acceptance test plans experience
- 5+ years - Experience / in-depth knowledge of system development life cycle deliverables for each phase of development
- 5+ years - Requirements analysis / gathering experience
- 3+ years - Demonstrated experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports
- 10+ years - Experience working with customers to solve problems and support their needs
- PMP Certification. Provide a copy of your certification.
