Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services and platform and their associated limitations, with a special focus on Network and Application security considerations.
• Building and maintaining tools to automate application and infrastructure deployment and to monitor operations
• Hands on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash and Infrastructure as code automation using Biceps Scripts
• Azure Cloud experience with Azure function App, App services, API Management Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure BLOB Storage, Azure Web Apps, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Container Registries, Azure Key vault, SQL DB, Network Security Group and Synapse.
• Strong implementation experience using Continuous Planning, Integration, and Deployment tools like Azure DevOps Toolchain, Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus, SonarQube and Containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Good communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues/requirements
• Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions
• Fully and completely understand system inter-dependencies and limitations.
• Exert technical influence over multiple teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
• Should be willing to quickly upskill on new technologies, tools and paradigms
• Desired Certifications: AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-400, AZ-500 (or equivalent)

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with Architect, Product Owner, Scrum Master on the evaluation of the feasibility, the time required to implement requirements.
• Participate in requirement meetings to gather and analyze requirements.
• Provide a detailed execution plan for the tasks for DevOps activities
• Assign tasks to the technical personnel on the execution plan
• Monitors the progress of the implementation, ensures that the tasks are done in the best possible way
• Identifies technical and process improvement opportunities and advocates to get them implemented.
• Escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with the project development/delivery initiatives
• Design and implement branching strategy, creating and managing source code repositories
• Design and automate cloud deployment architecture and CI/CD processes for API using various tools like Azure DevOps, SonarQube, GitHub.
• Deploy and Manage the Cloud resources (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS) on the Azure Public Cloud
• Participate in Blocker calls and Change Request meetings to provide updates.
• Report weekly status of the tasks to all of the relevant stakeholders.
