Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Develop and optimize machine learning models.
  • Lead data science projects from conception to deployment.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify data-driven opportunities.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Stay current with advancements in data science and AI.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in understanding business problems and formulating AI solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in one of the scripting languages, such as Java, Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
  • Experience developing and deploying models in one of the cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong expertise in statistical analysis and feature engineering techniques.
  • Proven experience in building fraud detection systems using advanced machine learning models.
  • Hands-on experience using co-pilot assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI tools) to accelerate feature delivery and streamline development workflows.
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects from start to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to communicate the results of analysis in a clear and effective manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Azure Databricks, Azure ML, OpenAI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
