About our client

Zero Longevity Science is the world's leading fasting app, with over 10 million users on a journey toward better metabolic health. The company is now building a powerful new AI-forward product that lives alongside Zero—and is looking for a seasoned Product Marketing Manager to help bring it to life.

Zero has a massive audience and a trusted brand. With the new product, the company is entering an exciting next chapter—where AI, coaching, and metabolic health intersect. For those who love turning ideas into compelling narratives, creating launch moments that stick, and growing consumer apps that drive real behavior change, this is a high-impact opportunity worth considering.

This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and growth. The selected candidate will partner directly with the CEO and a small but mighty team to shape and lead go-to-market for the upcoming launch—while also supporting core marketing activities across the existing Zero product.

💡 What This Role Will Do

🚀 New App Launch (AI-forward health product)

  • Shape the go-to-market strategy for the new consumer app—from beta to full launch
  • Build and run the launch playbook: pre-launch waitlist, early access strategy, onboarding flow, app store presence, and post-launch iteration
  • Define the product’s positioning and craft storytelling that resonates with real users and sets the product apart in a crowded market
  • Lead App Store Optimization (ASO) strategy and asset creation—including metadata, screenshots, A/B tests, and video
  • Activate and convert the existing Zero audience into early adopters and paid subscribers

📱 Zero App & General Marketing

  • Manage social media channels and community engagement, keeping users inspired and engaged across platforms
  • Oversee ASO and the app store presence—collaborating on copy, creative, and updates that drive discovery
  • Track performance using tools like Amplitude and Braze to identify what’s working (and what’s not), and improve the full consumer funnel
  • Develop and lead a communications strategy that enables the Chief Medical Officer to share insights through LinkedIn, podcasts, and public speaking
  • Manage contractors and collaborators—such as Braze and social media partners—to keep projects moving smoothly
  • Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive and user-centered marketing and in-app experiences

👀 What They’re Looking For

  • 8–10 years of experience in consumer marketing; background in consumer mobile apps, especially in health & wellness or subscription models, is a strong plus
  • A strong sense for what makes a product resonate emotionally and practically with users
  • Proven ability to craft positioning and messaging that translates features into real-life outcomes
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and owning key aspects of launch strategy, messaging, and content
  • Familiarity with tools like Braze, Amplitude, and App Store Connect, with the ability to be hands-on
  • Comfort with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to move faster, create content, learn quickly, and operate with leverage
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments—wearing multiple hats, working across teams, and bringing on the right people to scale what matters
  • Analytical and action-oriented mindset, with sound judgment on when to experiment, when to double down, and when to pivot
  • Bonus: Experience launching a product from 0→1 and guiding it through early traction and learning

📄 Contract Details

  • 3-month contract with the potential to convert to a full-time role
  • 40 hours/week
  • $65–$70/hour
  • Fully remote; must overlap with West Coast hours for collaboration
