Job Summary:

Talentify.io is an Insurance Technology company seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Applied AI. The role involves designing and developing product features using large language models, integrating AI into applications, and collaborating with various teams to enhance products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop product features and core components utilizing large language models (LLMs)

• Lead the integration of AI models into scalable, customer-centric applications

• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to solve complex problems

• Work with AI researchers and data scientists to enhance platform APIs based on customer feedback

• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design sessions and code reviews

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with at least two modern programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#

• 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks

• 3+ years of experience in architecture and design of new and current systems

• 3+ years of experience building AI/ML products, particularly with LLMs or similar AI models

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

Preferred:

• Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or a portfolio showcasing applied AI projects

• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex challenges with minimal direction

• 3+ years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
