About The Company

Hi, I’m Noel, founder of JobRack.

We help agency owners and entrepreneurs hire brilliant remote team members from Eastern Europe and South Africa (the sweet spots of remote talent).

Now we need someone like you to help bring in more of those clients.

This isn’t a branding or content writing role. It’s a hands-on, performance-focused, build-it-and-make-it-convert marketing role. You’ll work directly with me to plan the strategy, and then you’ll execute rapidly, independently, and effectively.

What You’ll Own:

You’ll be responsible for one thing above all else: Driving qualified sales calls.

Everything else supports that:

  • Funnels
  • Ads
  • Lead magnets
  • Email sequences
  • Pages
  • Offers
  • Analytics

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

  • Launch and test paid offers (like a $49 how to hire and use an EA effectively guide) to get leads in fast.
  • Build simple funnels that convert leads into hiring clients.
  • Turn a 75-page Hiring Playbook into high-converting micro guides that people actually want.
  • Spin up landing pages and email sequences in days, not weeks.
  • Write and manage email campaigns that get read, clicked on, and replied to. From opt-ins, nurture sequences, newsletters and more.
  • Run and track newsletter sponsorships and partnership campaigns (including finding new ones too).
  • Track the numbers and spot what’s working and what’s not, then fix it.
  • You’ll also manage relationships with our partners, newsletter sponsors, freelancers and others we need to make our marketing machine hum.

We’re going to move fast. If we have an idea on Monday (that deserves to jump to the top of the list), your job is to have it live and bring in leads by Friday.

👊 This Role is For You If…

You love email and content marketing and actually know how to make it convert. You think in systems and funnels and dashboards.

You’ve got a “let’s figure it out” attitude and you know how to move fast and test things without needing endless meetings!

You’ve got tons of examples of how you’ve done things yourself. You’re hands on every day creating email sequences, landing pages and more.

You’ve also got tons of examples of using AI tools to do better work, faster.

About the role

What it’ll be like

From day one, you’ll have the keys to the engine. Email sequences, lead magnets, campaigns, content, landing pages and a bunch more.

Some things are working well. Others? Not built yet. That’s where you come in.

You’ll work closely with me to test new ideas, run campaigns, track results, and evolve our marketing system into a consistent lead and client-generating machine.

We’ll move fast, share feedback often, and celebrate wins as we grow.

🧰 Tools You’ll Be Using

  • Email Marketing: ActiveCampaign
  • Funnels & Opt-ins: ClickFunnels, ConvertBox, WordPress
  • CRM: ActiveCampaign and HubSpot (currently used for sales)
  • Automation & Reporting: Zapier, Google Sheets
  • Project Management & Communication: Slack, Monday.com

Must-Haves:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience building and running full funnels (ads → landing page → nurture → sale). Ideally B2B.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one ad platform (Meta, LinkedIn, Google).
  • Ability to build landing pages using ClickFunnels, WordPress, or similar tools.
  • Strong email marketing skills, including list management, sequences, and broadcasts (we use ActiveCampaign for now).
  • Experience writing or repurposing content for conversion (lead magnets, micro-guides, short-form offers).
  • Analytical mindset - you must be confident using GA4, dashboards, and KPIs to guide and prioritise your work.
  • Self-sufficiency - you can build, launch, and test campaigns without needing a designer or dev.
  • Bias for speed and action - you can launch MVPs quickly and iterate.
  • Lots of recent examples of using AI tools to improve marketing execution.

Nice-to-Haves:

We’d love it if you also have:

  • Experience running newsletter sponsorships and tracking conversion
  • Worked in an agency, SaaS, or service business before
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Zapier, Google Sheets
  • Worked with or built systems to drive referrals and repeat customers
  • A personal interest in remote work, hiring, or entrepreneurship

📊 What Success Looks Like

Let’s be clear, this isn’t a “brand awareness” job. It’s about outcomes.

Each month, we’ll be looking at the number of qualified sales calls you helped generate, how many of those leads turned into clients, how well our emails and resources are performing, and how often happy clients are referring us, or coming back for more.

We’ll set targets together, and you’ll have the support and autonomy to hit them.

KPIs You’ll Own:

📅 Qualified sales calls booked per month

🧲 Number of leads generated per campaign/channel

📬 Email open, click, and conversion rates

🔁 # of high-quality referrals and repeat client sales each month

Other meaningful marketing metrics that we agree on together

💚 Our Values (Yes, We Actually Use These)

We value Clarity. Focused speed. Positivity and professionalism. Constant improvement and wowing our clients every time.

More than anything, we’re helpful and friendly.

That’s not just a tagline. It’s how we work with each other, our clients and candidates, and even the people we don’t end up working with.

Benefits

💰 Salary: $3,000–$3,500+/month (if full-time, on a gross, independent contractor basis)

🌍 Remote: 100%, work from anywhere

🕘 Hours: Full-time or Part-time (FT is 9 am–5 pm CET, PT is 11 am-3 pm CET), with some flexibility

🌴 Holidays: 20 days paid holiday (rising to 25 after one year)

🤒 Sick Leave: 5 paid sick days per year

✈️ Perks: Annual team retreat, opportunity to grow with us, real ownership

A quick note on working as an independent contractor

We hire our team members on an independent contractor basis but that’s just a legal thing.

In every way you’re a real team member. Just please be happy to work in this way, if you need advice on it then apply and we’ll help you figure things out through the process.
