In this role, you will design and develop material handling systems that optimize operational efficiency for clients across diverse industries. You will transform conceptual layouts into functional, high-performing designs while supporting project development from initial concept through implementation. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide technical expertise, develop equipment specifications, and ensure solutions meet throughput, cost, and operational objectives. This position offers the opportunity to influence client solutions, lead project execution, and contribute to continuous improvement in system design and operational performance. Your work will directly impact client success and operational excellence in complex warehouse and material handling environments.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the development of material handling system concepts and translate them into detailed functional layouts.
• Apply expertise in equipment selection to maximize performance and match desired processing outputs.
• Evaluate throughput capabilities and determine optimal equipment sizing.
• Develop comprehensive equipment lists, pricing, and system proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine layouts, support proposals, and ensure smooth project execution.
• Deliver findings and technical recommendations to internal and client-facing teams.
• Provide creative, solutions-oriented input to improve system designs and operational performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in material handling system design.
• Expertise with AutoDesk/AutoCAD drafting software and OEM-specific design packages.
• Extensive knowledge of material handling equipment, warehouse operations, and system simulation.
• Demonstrated experience leading system pricing, project lifecycle management, and design/sales presentations.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills with the ability to conceptualize innovative solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and maintain a positive, results-driven attitude.
