You will design intuitive, human-centered solutions across cancer care and expert second-opinion services, helping simplify and elevate critical moments in people’s lives. Working remotely within a highly collaborative product environment, you will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to transform user needs into thoughtful, accessible experiences. You will contribute across the full design lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to prototyping and validation. Accountabilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for cancer care and expert second-opinion journeys across mobile and web platforms
- Create UX artifacts including wireframes, mockups, journey maps, flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes
- Conduct user research, discovery sessions, and usability testing to validate and refine design decisions
- Build and iterate on high-fidelity prototypes, leveraging modern tools including AI-assisted design workflows
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to align design solutions with technical feasibility and product strategy
- Contribute to and evolve a shared design system, ensuring consistency across experiences
- Translate complex healthcare workflows into simple, accessible, and emotionally supportive user experiences
- Present and communicate design concepts clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
- Continuously refine experiences based on user feedback, data insights, and iterative testing
- Advocate for users while balancing business, technical, and regulatory constraints
- Support a collaborative, positive, and resilient team culture focused on impact and execution
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in UX or product design, with a strong portfolio of shipped digital products
- Experience designing within healthcare or similarly complex, regulated environments preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX, HCI, Graphic Design, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong expertise in UX methodologies including user research, contextual inquiry, and usability testing
- Excellent visual design skills, including typography, layout, color, and interaction design principles
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and AI-enhanced design tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to design and prototype complex, multi-step user journeys
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience collaborating in agile, cross-functional product development teams
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity with a strong bias toward action and ownership
- Empathy-driven mindset with strong collaboration and feedback integration skills
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process and impactful product outcomes
