As a Staff Product Designer, AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-powered experiences across a leading digital training platform. You will drive the creation of intuitive, scalable, and trustworthy user experiences by blending systems thinking, design excellence, and human-centered approaches. Working closely with product and engineering partners, you will lead complex initiatives, influence design strategy, and ensure design quality across multiple product surfaces. This role also involves mentoring peers, guiding best practices, and helping evolve design systems to support innovative AI solutions. You will have significant impact on both the user experience and the company's long-term AI design vision, while working in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Accountabilities
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to drive responsible AI integration across various user experiences
- Lead the design of complex product initiatives, delivering clarity in ambiguous spaces and ensuring alignment with business goals
- Develop shared frameworks, patterns, and principles to improve usability, consistency, and trust in AI-driven interfaces
- Deliver high-quality flows, prototypes, and interaction logic that set the standard for intuitive and durable AI experiences
- Contribute to the evolution of an AI-first design strategy and ensure scalability and cohesion across active projects
- Serve as a design lead within your cross-functional team, influencing scope and priorities while representing the user perspective
- Mentor and coach other designers, helping build organizational knowledge and design literacy around AI
Requirements
- 10-12+ years of professional experience in product design, including end-to-end delivery within SaaS environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UX, systems thinking, and designing AI-powered experiences such as assistants, generative tools, or automation flows
- Proven experience contributing to large-scale, cross-functional product initiatives
- Deep knowledge of design systems, usability heuristics, and rapid prototyping methods
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and inspire teams
- Strategic, pragmatic, and resilient, comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous and evolving contexts
- Passion for human-centered, responsible AI design, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and trust
- Nice to have: experience in SaaS, e-learning, or productivity tools; prior contributions to design systems or AI design frameworks
