This role offers the chance to lead and optimize enterprise-level infrastructure supporting critical data and file transfer operations. You will work with modern cloud platforms, managed file transfer solutions, and enterprise job scheduling tools to ensure secure, resilient, and efficient operations. The position combines hands-on technical responsibilities with mentoring and knowledge-sharing across teams. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to translate requirements into scalable solutions, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates are experienced, proactive, and enjoy solving complex technical challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Accountabilities:
- Administer and optimize Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions and enterprise job scheduling platforms, including Tidal Workflow Automation, SecureTransport, MOVEit, and HULFT.
- Design, implement, and maintain network file transfer connections across multiple protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, S3).
- Troubleshoot complex file transfer challenges, including certificate management and firewall configurations.
- Translate technical requirements into actionable infrastructure solutions for internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to deliver reliable and secure infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory directives such as SOX, PCI, and privacy legislation.
- Provide mentoring, training, and knowledge transfer to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call support rotations to maintain 24/7 operational stability.
- Develop and maintain workflow orchestration and data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow.
- Utilize Python, microservices architecture, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to design and deploy resilient systems.
- Requirements:
- 10+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience with progressive responsibility.
- Expert-level knowledge of Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
- Proficiency with enterprise job scheduling platforms and server administration.
- Deep understanding of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, S3).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure provisioning (e.g., AWS CloudFormation).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach.
- Database query experience and log analysis capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: PowerShell scripting, certificate management, ITIL methodology, observability tools (New Relic, Splunk), and mentoring experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX, PCI-DSS, and privacy regulations.
