In this role, you will join a specialized AppSec division that develops advanced application protection and white-box cryptography solutions. You will contribute to securing applications, keys, and data across multiple platforms, including mobile, web, desktop, and server. The work you do will directly impact billions of devices worldwide by defending against reverse engineering and data theft. As part of an agile Scrum team, you will engage with low-level application internals and implement innovative solutions to complex software security challenges. Accountabilities

As a Senior Software Engineer in Application Security, you will:

  • Contribute to the design and development of advanced application security and cryptography solutions
  • Build and enhance protection mechanisms to secure applications, code, and sensitive data in untrusted environments
  • Work with C/C++ and Python to deliver reliable and high-performing security features
  • Investigate and analyze low-level application internals such as binary formats, assembly, and dex
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an agile Scrum environment to drive product innovation
  • Play a key role in improving resilience against reverse engineering, tampering, and security threats

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • 5+ years of software development experience on mobile or desktop platforms
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python
  • Solid command of written and spoken English
  • Familiarity with modern programming languages such as Kotlin, Swift, Go, or Rust
  • Interest in low-level technologies, including assembly and binary file formats
  • Practical exposure to security threats and mitigation techniques, or experience solving CTF challenges
  • A problem-solving mindset with curiosity and a drive to understand systems deeply
