This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. QA Automation Engineer - Growth in Europe.
As a Sr. QA Automation Engineer in the Growth team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all products deliver exceptional quality and reliability to users. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Design teams to enhance user journeys, from first impressions to long-term retention. This role emphasizes test automation, manual testing, and continuous improvement of QA processes to maintain high standards of performance and stability. Your work will directly impact user experience, product reliability, and team efficiency. You will have the opportunity to implement modern testing frameworks, drive automation projects, and contribute to the growth of high-performing digital products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Accountabilities
Design, implement, and maintain reliable automation tests that are robust and independent of minor UI changes.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve frontend testing processes and coverage.
Execute manual and automated testing, identifying bugs, documenting issues, and ensuring timely resolution before release.
Lead test projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with growth goals.
Contribute to QA best practices, including bug tracking, security testing, non-functional testing, and documentation.
Explore and implement innovative testing approaches to enhance product quality and resilience.
Requirements
Strong experience with programming languages used for test automation such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Proficiency with technical testing frameworks and tools, e.g., Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Postman.
Extensive experience in UI and/or API test automation within Agile environments.
Solid understanding of QA processes, including bug reporting, documentation, and various testing methodologies.
Interest in and aptitude for both manual and automated testing approaches.
Creative and analytical mindset, capable of thinking of new ways to test and challenge product assumptions.
Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
