Accountabilities

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

Designing and building scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications
Taking end-to-end ownership of product features, from architecture to deployment and maintenance
Translating requirements, designs, and wireframes into clean, high-quality code
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development
Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing their work for quality and efficiency
Implementing best practices in coding, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

At least 3 years of production experience with Ruby on Rails and modern web frameworks
Proven experience in building scalable/distributed SaaS applications
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON handling, caching, sessions, and multi-threading
Proficiency in database schema design with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB)
Experience developing and integrating APIs (REST and GraphQL)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, software engineering best practices, and agile methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills and a solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
