Accountabilities:

Lead the design, development, and delivery of self-service APIs and user interfaces for a new product from the ground up
Utilize existing platform components to build scalable, performant, and user-friendly solutions
Collaborate with data science and product teams to translate optimization algorithms into practical tools
Facilitate discussions with team members and stakeholders to identify and implement the best solutions
Own end-to-end feature delivery, including architecture, coding, testing, documentation, rollout, and adoption
Promote engineering best practices through code reviews, mentoring, and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

8+ years of full-stack development experience with strong backend proficiency in Python and frontend expertise in React and TypeScript
Proven experience building RESTful APIs, including data modeling, error handling, and performance tuning
Skilled in both SQL and NoSQL database design, querying, and optimization
Familiarity with modern testing frameworks such as pytest, Cypress, and Playwright
Demonstrated ability to launch new products and navigate ambiguity by breaking down complex problems into clear deliverables
Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working closely with product and design teams
Preferred experience includes SaaS platforms, digital media or advertising technology, design systems, GraphQL, and cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD)
