One of our companies is currently looking for a Software Engineer in Test III in India.

As a Software Engineer in Test III, you will lead the design and development of automated test frameworks using Java to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and QA testers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in test automation will help streamline testing processes, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior team members. You will also be responsible for evaluating and improving testing methodologies and contributing to the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust automated test frameworks using Java and related technologies
• Create scalable and maintainable automated test suites to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of software products
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure testability and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of quality and excellence
• Contribute to the creation of test plans and test cases during the requirements analysis phase
• Continuously evaluate and improve test automation processes and methodologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7-9 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or a similar role with a focus on test automation using Java
• Proficiency in Java programming and experience with Java-based automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, and Rest-Assured
• 2-3 years of experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter, Locust, or k6
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with security testing using open-source tools is a plus
