This role is a senior-level software engineering position focused on building and maintaining full-stack applications that power internal lead generation and delivery platforms. You will own features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and post-release support, in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment. The position requires strong backend expertise with the ability to contribute across the stack when needed. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions. The environment emphasizes ownership, pragmatic execution, and continuous delivery using modern cloud-based infrastructure. Engineers are expected to maintain high quality standards while leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and efficiency. This is a contract role supporting global teams across multiple time zones.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering scalable software solutions across the full development lifecycle while ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications supporting internal platforms and business workflows
Own feature delivery from technical design through deployment, production support, and iteration
Collaborate with Product Managers to refine requirements and define practical technical approaches
Develop backend services using PHP (Laravel/Lumen) or Python and contribute to API-driven systems
Support frontend development using JavaScript when required across product features
Build and integrate APIs with internal systems and third-party services
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code aligned with engineering standards
Work within AWS-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution
Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous engineering improvements
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance delivery speed and code quality

Requirements

This role requires strong technical depth, independent execution capability, and experience working in modern distributed engineering environments.

4+ years of professional software engineering experience in production environments
Strong backend expertise in PHP (Laravel/Lumen) or Python
Experience contributing across the full stack, including JavaScript-based frontend development
Solid experience designing and building API-driven systems
Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling
Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and containerized applications
Ability to independently deliver features from development readiness to production deployment
Strong collaboration skills with Product and cross-functional teams
Comfortable working in distributed teams across time zones
Open to using AI-assisted engineering tools in daily development workflows
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in fast-paced agile environments
