As a Software Engineer II, you will play a key role in building and maintaining backend services and web applications that power high-impact digital healthcare experiences. Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

Develop, maintain, and improve backend services and web applications supporting digital healthcare products
Write clean, tested, and efficient code, adhering to coding standards and best practices
Participate actively in code reviews, unit and integration testing, and system design discussions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex programming and design challenges
Leverage AI-assisted development tools and support the integration of AI capabilities into systems
Contribute ideas and collaborate on adopting new technologies and improving workflows
Participate in on-call rotation to triage and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and stability

Requirements

Candidates should have:

3-5 years of experience writing readable, tested, and efficient code
Proficiency in Ruby or Python, with practical experience in backend development
Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue
Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and API design (REST/GraphQL)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools such as Kubernetes or Docker
Exposure to AI/GenAI best practices and experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor or Copilot
Willingness to learn new tools, languages, and workflows to grow technical skills
Strong problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset
